Cooper would be drooling...
Testing testing, 1, 2 and stop.
Favourite old jumpers
White all over......
First part of the painting done and everything ended up white. Two work stations- one desk and one sewing table. Hopefully i can get back on the road with crafting pretty soon.
The rest of the house is a dump but at least this is my hideout, it will do until i can find something better. Its a pity white paint cant solve all the problems. Thank goodness for showers at Rosie's and good food and cards at Sofka's.

Two blue,
That my hands are daily covered in paint makes me less productive on the stitching front. Still need three more shrunken jumpers for my blanket but im dying to make it up now. Must wait til i have moved though. Real wool is hard to come by in London charity shops, I may even have to wait for a trip to Devon.

Things to do:
* Paint entire bedroom white- with studio space and good storage
* Move house, whilst fat and unable to lift things
* Sew lots of sample masks
* Make baby clothes
* Sewing for costume designer
* Work out what to give as Christmas presents and go into production
* Start collaboration work
* Go to Maternity classes
* Have baby
* Try to make new flat nicer, paint- make communal areas bearable-suitable for a little one
* Work out finances- how to support baby and myself
* Sew, sew, sew, sew, sew and live
I am just about to start the painting, as soon as i can get volunteers and then the rest is all just fingers crossed and try for the best. Im going to have a big scary year ahead of me....so to keep my calm for today and not panic too much, im just going to finish a couple more masks......

im being lazy.....again.
This bunting was finished almost a week ago now. What i would call a Country Church Fete style. It made about 22m in finished length and i ended up having too much for the room but it was quite fun. Still wishing for the day i might own an overlocker so i dont have to bag everything out, press and topstitch. Thats labourious.
Today im being lazy, im restless, the weathers dull and i dont want to go out....my attention span is short and i dont want to make

More for the bean
So i had a few last scraps of jersey and thought id also use some of my old fabric collection for 'girly' baby clothes. These are the results so far. More dresses in the making- got to experiment with a few more fabrics, can't help it.
Had an e-mail today from someone saying they liked my masks, quite joyous, there is hope for me still.

Baby baby baby....
Ok, so I know ive still got three and a half months to go but i get bored if i dont constantly have something to make. Ive made booties, shorts and bibs and then i made lots of sleeveless little numbers, all out of old clothes. The woolen ones are a little chunky but the jersey ones took a long time as i have no overlocker and had to hand sew all the binding. Stupid thing is you can pick up a just as useful one in
Woolworths for about £1 each and mine look like they were shop bought anyway. I wonder if i will actually use them...
I am also currently working on 20 meters of bunting using vintage fabrics from an old collection, which i hope will look spectacular and a felted woollen blanket. I guess the masks are on hold for a little bit, at least until i can get some interest in them and create a bit of a direction for production.

what is more than an obsession...?
Today i finished my latest mask. The felted wool, seems like it might become a regular member of the collection. Im thinking about leather next and maybe a pirate style, I really am more than obsessed. I think people think its just a bit quirky for now but im sure they will start to get worried if i continue for a whole month. (my aunt has already sent me a message saying they are boring and uncommercial but its all that keeps me from twiddling my thumbs at the moment so i haven't stopped). If i carry on i will be drowning in these little pests by christmas. Ive even joked to my friend that i may end up making some for my poor little baby, (due december), What can i do with them? (and am i mad, or could this just be classed as borderline boredom?)
